Did the Communistic systematic inferiority in quality of propaganda when compared to that of the contemporary and Cold War-era West provide for a situation where, in this strict and single metric, life under Communism was better? Under Communism, propaganda was poor quality and blatant, and people understood their entrapment more honestly, while the contemporary propaganda system in the West, perfected by private sector innovation, blindsides unwitting people to this day.
