Alright bro I am all for discussion of Sikhi but don’t post pictures of the Gurus on a site which literally has a sex chat app ad at the top of the page.

There's an interesting lore where the founder of Sikh, Nanak, went on pilgrimage across India, Sri Lanka and Tibet to teach his religion. Subsequently, he was seen as reincarnation of some Bodhisattva in Tibet.

god is separate from his creation , he cannot be it , as god is unique , indivisible and eternal while creation isnt any of this
that is my problem with sikhism , otherwise it sounds like a weird islam to me , some mix of akbariyya and universalism
>>
also i never understood the "a new prophet came " shtick of druzes alawiyya sikhism etc while recognizing muhammad as the prophet of god when he said that he is the final one

They could just say that the quran is corrupted like how muslims say that the bible is corrupted or they could say seal of prophets means something else tgan what muslims say. Do sikkhs even claim that muhammad was an prophet or did you just invent this?

>Do sikkhs even claim that muhammad was an prophet or did you just invent this?
from two researches i saw that while they recognize him they do not believe in him
they say he was truly sent by god but he corrupted the message for ego
i stand corrected , you may forget that point

Prophet Muhammad is mentioned a grand total of once in Sikh scripture, in the Dasam Granth Sahib, where it is written that God created and sent Muhammad as a messenger. The text states that Muhammad erred by adding his own name to the Shahada and falling into ego. It also is critical of the practice of circumcision, which Muhammad condoned.

In general the similarity between Sikhism and Islam is greatly exaggerated. We aren’t an Abrahamic faith, and figures like Moses, Jesus or Muhammad are not important to the Sikh worldview. Indic figures like Durga Mata, Lord Krishna, or Lord Ram are mentioned much more and in a positive light (although we do not consider this figures to be gods, rather to be creations of God).
>>
My impression of Sikhism is that it's an attempt to synthesize Abrahamism (esp. Islam) and Hinduism. Is that right?

Who were the Gurus? Prophets, or something greater?
>>
>>18266939
That is wrong. The Sikh worldview is not Abrahamic, and while it is not Hindu either, our conception of the Divine is closest to the idea of Brahman in Vedanta.

The Gurus are the infallible spiritual guides of the Sikhs, who created the Sikh political institutions and wrote/compiled Sikhs scriptures
