I used to watch alternate history hub until he got his sense of reality warped and skull fucked by Twitter, where he called a 20 year old kid a pedo for having a 17 year old GF, (although it was on his side channel, it still shows that his mind is slipping towards the terminally online).

You kinda want to find someone who is of moderate fame, not a small raving schizo like Zoomer Hist, but also not a complete sellout who can't say no to their audience.
Someone like BrandonF is fairly good, although he mostly only covers 18th to 19th c warfare.

Kings and Generals, lots of different series from all points of history and do a great job of breaking down battles. Their Rome and Napoleon stuff is great.

Oversimplified for witty and condensed historical figures and periods.

I watch alot of Vlogging through History because he reacts to alot of different stuff, but also has alot of on site American civil war stuff.
