How do Christians answer the problem of the triumph of Islam over Christianity in the Middle East?Option 1: The Christians were defeated because their religion is false.Option 2: The Christians were defeated even though their religion was real and their god could have helped them but simply chose not to do so and they didn't care that their worshippers were being persecuted, slaughtered, and forcibly converted to serve another religion, their churches were being destroyed and/or reconverted to mosques.I see no way in which the Christians end up looking good.
