Alfred Zimmern, an English historian, political scientist and member of the Round Table Group (which was financed by the Rhodes trust; Cecil Rhodes who was a Rothschild man), wrote a book about this in 1926 called the Third British Empire. It's free on the internet.

The decision to turn the British Empire into World Government through the League of Nations (the predecessor to the United Nations) was made even BEFORE WW1 was over.

Today that would be the equivalent of keeping ASML workers in the US and the Netherlands and forbidding them from travel to China.
