What has philosophy actually contributed to society? None of the inane babbling of philosophers has ever resulted in a tangible benefit or ever done anyone any good.

Aristotle is correct.

It doesn't need to be good. Greece became wealthy, and some of the wealthy didn't have to worry about anything anymore and started to contemplate everything. It contributed to society something for citizens to enjoy, like listening to them debate, once in a while you don't want to have your mind be enslaved and sleeping.

Its served me for some things. But you have to know what to look for and where to apply it.

Besides I'm more convinced now that either Socrates was a name or title shared by multiple people, or that these transcripts got the names of participants messed with somehow even generationally, for whatever purpose.

Philosophy has served the ends of literate smart people, in their quest to happiness with truth, or their quest of denial with rethoric.

So analytic philosophy is superior.

The ability to ask question and get an answer in a coherent way. The mode of inquiry into the nature arguments, of truth, of beauty, of rationalism, of skepticism, of debates, etc.

Philosophy also helps us to ask the right kinds of questions. Most uneducated retards don't even know what kinds of questions to even ask in the first place.

Except it did and you're a fucking retard with no clue of what you're talking about.
