His European family lineage has been traced back to 524 A.D. to Saint Arnulf of Metz via Charlemagne. Wilson has also said he has some Native American ancestry, although he did not explicitly say which tribe he came from

What's unusual about this? It seems fairly typical for an African-American genealogy, maybe a bit more prominent than most but then again this dude also became a successful pro athlete
