Was Joan of Arc just a glorified cheerleader with luck on her side or was she actually a good leader?
>>
No one ever talks about her threat to genocide the Hussites.
>>
She was actually ahead of her time when it came to the employment of cannon.
Had natural understanding of ballistics, employed them in counter-battery fire.

Not only was she scarily accurate in using her own guns, she was sharp-eyed enough to predict English projectiles would land.
This skill would be of great importance in the storming of English fortifications heavily guarded by these arsenals.
>>
I don't think you fully realize the meaning of the word glorified

>was [general] a good leader or were they just lucky
This is a legitimately difficult question for the vast majority of military leaders in history, anon, especially those with relatively short careers. Battles generally happen when both sides believe they can win, and luck invariably has a lot to do with the ultimate outcome.

after her death, Her commander, Gilles de Rais, went on to become an occult serial killer and murdered over 140 people, including children, in ritualistic black mass sacrifices.

Cheerleaders don't take battle field injuries nor lead men.
