is God reality or a divine entity beyond reality ? Because if God is both then there's little to do with a moral life. As the universe is its own nature grounded by us "God". Which disqualifies monotheism.
it's the difference between an amoral and immoral god.
>>18287852This is obvious if you take a second to actually ponder the problem of evil. All distortions around God are moral in nature and tied to our desire to have some assurance that our existence is meaningful. I think God existing and not mattering with respect to what we do is exciting and meaningful. It means we have a wide range of possibilities to pick from rather than systems like the politically correct Abrahamic and Vedic religions.
>>18287857Morals and natural do not correlate!!
God cannot be both in a system which includes morality. Because if it did we would not need the guidance of a divine but merely nature as God.
I'd rather believe in nature than a benevolent god that can change its mind !
>>18287859>>18287863>>18287867That’s my point. Morality conforms to subjective egoistic values and natural law rather than the other way around.
There is evidence of nature as in our own internal morals but not of a diety beyond which binds us to morals through faith.
>>18287872in that case, I seize to see the point of even calling nature god.
