What percentage of humans are killed yearly by other humans? It's statistically insignificant. Most people are extremely hard to provoke to violence, and we have to have complex institutions like the state and the army to get people to do serious violence.Comformism is the big, underrated part of human nature. People want to follow rules and uphold social order, which is needed for societies to work.
