Remember that with the exception of the Jezreel Valley and the coastal plain most of the region is dry and sparse. Most of what you call Israel came from the Samarian Highlands and were also an endogamous mountain people. This is also not to mention the fact that the region has been contested for millennia by major powers. I think a combination of those factors creates a population with a higher than usual rate of dark triad traits and high in-group favoritism. That’s why not every Jew is some monster, but they’ll always stay quiet about a brother’s crime and not consider it worthy of excommunication. The only way they’ll actually destroy themselves is if they’re in their own land. Then they lose that same cohesion that they had outside the land and fight amongst each other.

This is part of the truth.The rest of it is natural selection and history - Semitic peoples have been genociding and counter-genociding each other for 10,000 years - all of recorded history. Levantine peoples carry the most tribal rivalry memories and baggage of any place on earth.I'm really impressed how they export their tribal disputes throughout the world and parasitically cause global powers to fight for them.I would love to see the rest of the world marginalize this behavior, but it's not going to stop until the US leads the way.
