Have you ever read genre fiction? Did you ever notice that the characters in fictional stories have different unique names to differentiate between them? This is done by writers of fictional stories without them even thinking about it so they can make sure the reading audience don't confuse the characters together.

This is not present in the Bible (especially the New Testament). When reading scripture, you find that there are biblical figures who have the same common name on multiple occasions which tends to happen with people involved in historical events.

Examples include
>At least 4 biblical figures named James (James, brother of John; James, brother of Jesus; James, son of Alphaeus)
>At least 6 biblical figures named Mary (Mary, mother of Jesus; Mary Magdalene; Mary of Bethany)
>At least 14 figures named Simon (Simon Peter; Simeon, the prophet in the Temple)
>At least 4 biblical figures named John (John the Baptist; John the Apostle; John Mark)
>At least 7 biblical figures named Judas/Jude (Judas Iscariot; Jude, brother of Jesus and writer of an epistle)
