because i made this, only after i made this did i see a decline in the atheistic dogma
>>
>>18293961
It didn't bring about the secular utopia that atheist activists envisioned during the 2000s era of New Atheism, they kept banging on about how religion was the source of all of our problems and how society would improve if we just ditched religion. People listened, they stopped being religious, and here we are, in a world shittier than ever, the economy in the gutter, on the brink of WW3, depressed, not being able to buy houses, living with your parents well into your 30s, no jobs, no marriage or children, isolated from the rest of society, no culture, no idenity, no purpose, no meaning etc, etc etc.

People have simply realized that getting rid of religion didn't improve anything, and arguably made some things worse. That doesn't mean that people have decide to go back to religion, but it does mean that people no longer see religion or religious people as the source of all evil, nor do they see someone embracing religion as a bad thing, even atheists today recognize the benefits that being religious can bring to a person who geniune believes.
>>
>>18293961
It didn't.
>>18293999
>look where we are now
Standard "after this, because of this" fallacy based in motivated reasoning. Look up ang "importance of religion by country" list to see the unsoundness of this argument.
>>
>>18294024
What do you think the effects of people abandoning religion have been?
>>
>>18294027
It certainly didn't cause all the shit listed, because that's retarded.
>>
>>18294029
>It certainly didn't cause-
I didn't ask you what it "didn't cause", I asked you what it caused.

Answer.
>>
>>18294032
Too many people react differently to deconversion for a meaningful answer.
>>
>>18294036
What has the overall answer been?
>>
>>18294041
Overall, less importance on religion in society. That's all you can say, which is implicit in the "abandoning religion" already.

>2000s
The "New" Atheism was a psyop from the West after 9/11 to the Islamic world it was never meant for the West. The Islamists to their credit never consider the West atheist they consider them Christian and they saw through their hypocrisy. This Atheism bs is a psyop pushed by either Christians, the Zog or other agents who know the West despite their high education and wealth are Christians and not Atheist and deliberately conflate Secularism with Atheism and use this confusion to push Atheism to Muslims to get them out of Islam. These Eurofags had 500 years of reformation and never ever dropped their Christian cult or destroyed any churche idol like the Christians did to their pagan temples but they want to tell Islamists to leave Islam when after 500 years of reformation they are still fundamentalist Christcunts. These Atheist fags should first disarm their own before they go for the islamists, as long as these rich educated Eurofag christcunts use their own civilization to protect and push this Abrahamic cult Islam will always exist.
>>
>>18294045
>Overall, less importance on religion in society. That's all you can say
Really? That's all? Why so coy?
>>
>>18293961
Because it won. Fewer (white) people than ever are religious or earnestly religious. Atheism is not a cause to be championed, it's the unspoken norm.
>>
>>18294047
I mean to be fair these days atheists are just desperately trying to preserve the post-WW2 consensus and liberal democratic order, even as it's collapsing all across the world and it disintegrates like sand through their fingers.
>>
>>18294049
Yes that's all.
>>
>>18294060
Would you say that people considering religion less important in their lives has been an overall good or a bad thing?
>>
>>18294063
For what or whom? Society? In terms of law, yes. Otherwise, hard to say. Personally? It depends on the person, like I've said.
>>
>>18293961
The fedora meme unironically buck broke them and made them an eternal laughingstock that no young person EVER wants to be associated with.
>>
>>18294074
>In terms of law, yes.
Elaborate.
>>
>>18294055
Here are your "Atheists" running the world. KEK
>>
>>18294078
Dogmas from religions shouldn't infect the law. People placing more importance on religion makes that more likely to happen.
>>
>>18293961
Whats that trepidation under your feet, anon?
>>
>>18294080
King Charles III is most certainly not an atheist, as a matter of fact I'm pretty sure he resents atheism, there are even some rumours that he's quite fond of Islam.
>>
>>18294086
>Dogmas from religions shouldn't infect the law
Why not?
>>
>>18294086
I don't see how making law free from religious influence makes it better, right now there are many orwellian laws being passed all across the EU, a literal police state is being implemented in the UK, for example. Even the Pope has come put critizising these draconian laws.
>>
>>18294075
90% of the youth today are Atheist. Churches are closing down by the thousands and being turned into strip clubs. LOL fuck Jesus and all his retard followers. You won't do shit about it either.
>>
>claims atheism failed
>when more and more people are irreligious every year
okay
>>
>>18294098
>You won't do shit about it either.
What do you want them to do? Call on a crusade? Become a Christian taliban? Use violence agaisnt non-believers? Would that be praiseworthy in your eyes?
>>
>>18294099
It failed to make society better, as many atheist activists claimed it would.
>>
>>18294098
>Churches are closing down by the thousands and being turned into strip clubs.
Is this suppsoed to be something to be lauded?
>>
>>18294088
>Render unto Caesar
There are NO atheists who run the world it's a myth created by the Christcunts who hate secularism and equate it with atheism to make people believe Atheist leaders run the world when that's not true even the ZOG they accuse of running the world too isn't atheism it's a religious nationalism no different then Judaism.
>>
>>18294122
>>Render unto Caesar
That doesn't mean what you think it means.
>There are NO atheists who run the world
I'm fairly certain that there are many atheists in positions of authority, especially in Europe, Keir Starmer, for example, is openly an atheist.
>>
>>18294128
>Keir Starmer
He is not the Head of State of the UK. He kisses the King of Jews ring. That's basic 101 history everyone knows but you and saying we have an atheist now doesn't mean the UK is atheist or has ever been atheist.
>>
>>18294141
My butler Keir is Atheist sire his wife is Jewish tho
>>

I prefer something like a Cult of Marcus Aurelius to Christianity or any Abrahamic religion.

>>18294659
Dawkins is literally saying the opposite of what that. He thinks low IQs will always be religious and it's better if they're Christian than Mozlem. I.e. atheism for me not for thee.
>>
God doesn’t exist. The consequences this has on society is irrelevant to this being a literal fact. Atheism isn’t a promise to alter civilization, it’s just observable reality.
>how did photosynthesis fail so hard
Like, nigga, what the fuck are you talking about?
>>
>>18293961
Because its just a reaction to theism which has fallen hard and is only practiced sarcastically/satirically for the purpose of profit/control these day.
>>
>>18293999
Religion was highly associated with the right wing at the time, so the essential idea was that if everyone became secular, they would all become left wing. That didn't happen, so there is less of a push.

I think religion may cause problems for deeper reasons, such as becoming too accustomed to someone ruling over you, which the government can then become substitute. However, I'm not really a utopian thinker in this regard.
>>
>>18293961
More people are atheist than ever, so I hardly see how it failed.
Christianity is on life support in Europe, in decline in America and even the Islamic world is rapidly secularizing.
>>
>>18294088
Charles is a fan of Guenon and a perennialist. He consults with a monk on Mount Athos who's his spiritual advisor of sorts.
>>
>>18294093
Because they are unverifiable pieces of archaic mysticism at best, or at worst outright falsehoods. Laws should be dictated by observable, physical reality, not fairytales.

Zoomers are mostly mestizos or Arabs (depending on the continent) from pre-industrial iron age cultures, so they believe in their ancestral cults like all premodern cultures.

It does counter atheism but it's under the notion that all atheists believe in the same values.

>Answer
Uh, probably nothing. The USA is still majority religious. The most atheist nations on Earth are also statistically the happiest (Western Europe mostly).
>B-but they have problems
Every country has problems.

When Hadrian outlawed Judaism in Jerusalem, most Jews just converted to Roman Paganism without skipping a beat. Life carried on. Only the religious freaks who’d rather be exiled than change religions had their lives upended.

Humanity will always be religious. Normgroids cling to religion. Which is fine. What is important is that the leaders of society institute a religion that is ideal for society-building.

Islam is terrible for society-building. Hinduism is also bad because karma is an anti-empathy ideology. Judaism is terrible for a variety of reasons, namely it always has to be an in-group/out-group. The Jews have never made a functioning society that lasted more than a few centuries at most.

Catholicism was pretty great overall.
>Get married
>Have kids
>Be faithful to your wife
>Dunk some water on your head
>Commit charity
>Give us some fucking money
Honestly, pretty perfect. It got ruined by schizo incels obsessing over “theology.”

Protestants sucked for the most part.
>Constant in-fighting
>Obsessing over the pronunciation of ancient words in a different language
>Bringing back circumcision
I could go on forever.

I think the path forward is some modified version of Mormonism that gets rid of the stupid underwear, allows coffee, and outlaws all genital mutilation (including male circumcision).

Freedom of religion is stupid. There’s also some retard out there who has “found the real truth” that causes trouble.
>God told me we all need to cut off our balls. The government is lying to us.
Btw, that actually happened in Heaven’s Gate (and many other groups actually).

Heresy needs to be punishable by death.
>>
>>18293961
It never did. Have you seen the change of America going from 70+% religious to 50+% religious in 20 years?
We won.
>>
>>18294105
There's more MAGAtards and Woketards than ever, and the world isn't a better place. Regardless of which side you're on, the last decade has been a shitshow.
It's almost as if atheism has nothing to do with it.

No they don't. ask 100 people if they actually knew this and which didn't just make it up to be religious belief, i doubt 2 even would know.
