>I can't wait to reunite with my wife in Heaven!
>I'm gonna see my pupper when I cross the rainbow bridge!
>My father visits me from Heaven sometimes as a bird!
Casual Christianity is basically just a cargo cult at this point. If you don't believe me, just ask some of your Christian friends or family about their idea of Heaven, and see how long it takes before they say something that is not endorsed or outright contradicted by scripture. I guarantee it will be pretty quick.

It is kind of terrifying how little of the Bible you have to read to be more knowledgeable about it than the average "professing" Christian. Especially in a time where the Bible is more accessible than ever.

True, we need a second Reformation.
>>
The cultural influence of Dante's Divine Comedy has done irreversible damage to how normalfag Christians perceive the possible afterlifes of their religion.

>in my father's house there are many mansions
>>

That’s an archaic translation. The word mansion in 1611 simply meant home or bedroom. Jesus was saying there is space in heaven for His disciples, not that you get a gilded palace

Jesus also said that things like who was married to who in this life do not matter in heaven when saying that remarriage after spouse's death is fine.

Also most people seem to believe once you're "saved", i.e. dunked in the water, it means they're guaranteed a spot in heaven no matter what. Even though the Bible is filled from cover to cover with rules, decrees, and commandments. Do this, don't do that, do forgive your debtors, do not fuck anyone in the ass. It's like if Faith is really all you need then why the fuck does Jesus spend all of his time telling people how to live their life? Constant threats of destruction and oblivion for anyone who doesn't comply

Yeah you're totally capable of coming to faith on your own, you Semi-Pelagian.

Marriage is a toxically masculine patriarchal institution which reinforces the historical oppression of women, and it will be abolished in the world to come.

>“And Jesus answering said unto them, The children of this world marry, and are given in marriage: But they which shall be accounted worthy to obtain that world, and the resurrection from the dead, neither marry, nor are given in marriage: Neither can they die any more: for they are equal unto the angels; and are the children of God, being the children of the resurrection.”
t. Luke 20:34–36
