Capitalism stifles innovation because failure is encouraged and the perception of progress is more important than actual progress.
>>18328085I thought it was because commercial interests are less inclined to invest in basic research than states.
>>18328137It's more that capitalism never meant anything in the first place, all you're doing is circlejerking money and any information derived from capitalism would come from initial rents and not reality.
>>18328085>>18328147Yeah cool whatever, wake me up when communists win the Cold War.
All systems stifle progress and innovation eventually as their momentum fades and the elites drift into conservatism/reactionism to further increase their influence/wealth after taking all that said system would naturally allow them. It does not matter what system is used, as long as there's a change every 60 years or so.
>>18328085there are two levels to consider:1. the level of the problems;2. the level of the solutions.if you focus on the problem, it will only make the problem grow
>>18328269But the American space program was fake. Whereas, everything Russia did was real.
xD
Why do communists have all these abstract headcanon theories that never play out in real life?>the perception of progress is more important than actual progressWasn't that also a problem in the Sovet Union with its faulty RBMK reactors and jet powered crop dusters? All these silly gimmicks that aren't actually useless. You can point to capitalist bullshit like halloween costumes for dogs and the tesla truck, but at least people recognize these as luxuries not utilities.
>>18328610that aren't? that are rather..
>>18328085Daily remind that capitalism has existed through all human history. So called communism is just delusional Marx's theory where people supposed to work for free and without responsibility and leaders/managers/etc.>>18328603>everything Russia did was realRussia has drained itself for space race. Picrelated.
