so from what i've been able to uncover, the main reason why stalin is generally seen as a monster is because he tried to banish large amounts of jews out of the government and the soviet union. all the other reasons are just excuses to cover up this fact

Pretty sure he was just an egotistical faggot who got ass mad over the most minor things. He was not a strongman, he was just surrounded by even weaker men. The fact no one just whipped out a gun and blew that faggots brains out is proof that Russians have always been submissive little bitch faggots destined to be raped by superior men. FFS he was a limp wristed Georgian literally anyone could have socked this queer and knocked his ass out cold, he couldn't do shit but instead they just did everything master told them to.

Impressive, very nice. Let's see anon's ascent to power and transformation of a quasi-feudal Afghanistan-tier gigashithole into a spacefaring nuclear superpower.

leaders usually are egotistical but he wasn't really above average, it was moreso the fact that his wife's death had made him indifferent to human suffering but that is also (partially) what made him a calculating person

other people around him being scared to kill him on the spot doesn't mean that russians are submissive: in russian culture, one of the greatest fears that can befall society is a time of uncertainty, like russia in the 90s. in regards to russia's geopolitical position and its status as a civilisation, they are more likely to flock to leaders who can provide certainty to the people, no matter how bad the leader individually is

stalin really is an interesting figure, it's a shame that i'll never get to meet him if not just to question him about some personal things so i can explore his soul a little more

yeah, pretty much this. they went from that to that in record time. the only people in the world who have been able to match that have been the chinese with a population multiple times larger and even their leaders aren't portrayed as demons, even though they killed literally ten times more of their own people than stalin ever did, but that's not to say that stalin was an angel or anything, he did make brutal decisions which led to a lot of unnecessary deaths (unnecessary from my personal point of view). i'm just saying that we have been lied to about him

Nope, he made antisemitism punishable by death.

A lot of buzzwords that describe the dogshit living conditions of the common Soviet man c. 1927 and contrasting them with expensive vanity projects that had nothing to do with the common Soviet man's wellbeing c. 1957 (Khruschev era btw). Not sure what you hoped to show with this comparison.
