>>18347086This is certainly something to think about, the issue is that Jewish identity is to a great degree volitional and "constructed" to some degree. Modern Jews have very little similarity to ancient Jews culturally or genetically, so the idea that they have survived where their enemies did not is a bit silly. Most of their historical enemies seem to be regime-based and those regimes are dead, but the people that made them up are still around. And it's not like a Jewish regime has survived in unchanged form since antiquity
