In june 1932, the SA held a peaceful march in a small town. At the same time, the Antifaschistische Aktion demonstrated against the march. Eventually, some antifascist agitators started throwing blunt objects from the rooftops at the SA march and fired rifle rounds nearby. This caused a panic and the SA started beating those who had thrown objects at them. A riot ensued that led to burning and multiple deaths. This led to hindenburg disolving the government of prussia in the end.At the time multiple communists were investigated for rioting but nothing came of it. But when the nazis came to power, they tried 15 men for the deaths of 2 SA officers, and executed them.
