Christianity preaches the truth, and logical at that. Everything eternal has to be perfect because only perfection can last, and furthermore everybody knows it. Everybody conscious is conscious of sin, everybody knows there are things they can't keep forever and be content. Could you be happy for eternity as a frustrated coomer? We have to get rid of these things, but when we try to do it ourselves we end up back in the unhappiness that led us there in the first place.The only way for a human to be happy forever, is to unload all our shortcomings and compromises onto a literal God-man who isn't damaged by the burden. That's the gateway to heaven. The alternative is hell, because no matter how small a moral shortfall is, you can't keep it forever without being corroded and consumed by it. Lay the burden down or grip it and be pulled down.
