I classify things I know as>Fundamental knowledge: Things I use to understand the world>Operational knowledge: Things I use to do tasksI see History as fundamental knowledge since I can use it to understand life in a time period. I don't know what kind of category random anime trivia, gossip or details about fantasy books would go in. Fundamental knowledge gives me a satisfying feeling of discovery while Operational knowledge gives me dread, specially when I have forgotten it and need to relearn to complete a task.Is there a better defined classification where concepts as these may go in?
