>Communists created the perfect economic system>The rest of the 1st world declare cold war on you because they don't want their own populations to get jealous and overthrow their rich elitesIs this a pretty accurate summary of the truth about USSR and Cold War?
>thread is a German ripoffJust like actual communism

>>18363179>perfect economic systemNothing is perfect in the world. The world moves through the movement of contradictions.
you realise that the americans funded the entire industry of the soviet union in the early days, right?
>>18363179Socialism will win
>>18363652Socialism has lost every last conflict it has ever fought with Islamism. Literally every time, from Bosnia to Indonesia, the communists have lost
The problem with central planning is all the bureaucracy and inefficiencies. Now, I had a leftist social studies teacher back in high school argue that with modern computing systems it might be a bit easier for central planning to be successful, I'm sure he'd think putting an AI in charge of the a command economy would be amazing. But the lack of competition will stifle innovation, even if the rest of the world doesn't sanction and embargo you.The worst part about communism is it necessitates authoritarianism. You can't have people spouting "anti-revolutionary" rhetoric because it undermines the system, similarly you cannot allow democracy and other political parties to exist because they might gain power and dismantle the economic regime. Despite all the country's flaws, the USA's Constitution, and particularly the first amendment, that allows free expression and interchange of ideas. Preventing the free flow of information is going to stifle the academic institutions, which eventually filters down and stagnates innovation in the economy.
>>18363179Then why did the perfect economic system become insolvent the moment oil prices went down?
>>18363179It was never a perfect economic system, there are plenty of good photos of soldiers burning Soviet currency for warmth because it’s wasn’t even worth its weight in scrap paper. The concept of centralized planning which was attempted was atrocious and lead to countless excess deaths.what succeeds in these states is the control that’s ACTUALLY turned over to workers. China had strong agricultural unions and those persist significantly as a bastion for workers. The same with the soviets arts and cultural outputs. Whatever is funded but with decentralized, democratic distribution of the funds is what usually works and stays long term, even through relentless privatization.

>>18363712What about a Chinese-like system that incorporates markets into central planning? Would that be efficient?
