The human race is about to enter another dimension. I don’t mean that figuratively, or metaphorically. The pursuit of transhumanism and the acceleration of the human races’ development will soon transport us brute force into another dimension. Another dimension divorced from our own entirely, with a nature incomprehensible to us. Like that bit in Neon Genesis: Evangelion when Shinji gets dissolved into LCL. There have been many people over history who managed to transport themselves. Buddha managed through meditating and reaching enlightenment – letting his mindBuddha reached his state of Nirvana. David Lynch reached for the transcendental. But to do this requires years and years of dedicated practice and a mind that is absorbant to the shared unconscious. A collective unconscious that sits beneath humans, a wave of pure soul that fuels life on this planet. All ideology is founded on these sets of assumptions. Freud’s collective unconscious, the Hindu atman, becoming one with God. It’s all points the same way.Accelerationist capitalists pursue transhumanism, but aimlessly and naively. Their crushing internal guilt, and their existential nihilism pushes them to pursue an escape from their decaying human form into the unknown. They invested in body enhancement, gene-pool rearrangement and VR, and now they have fixed on AI as their portal. They can fuck around all they like in the ‘real’ world because all they care about is reaching the untouchable. Think Monogon from Boneworks, which is powered by the void, an invisible transcendental power. The question is not whether this portal will transport them, and some of us, but when it does, whether it will really reach the transcendental or just a pale imitation of it. Humans are evolved for this progression. This is the great barrier, and why there are no spacefaring empires out there. Like The Pale in Disco Elysium, this invisible future is coming ever closer to us, and it’s coming fast
