Americans always seemed unreal to me, almost like mixed race posers, it’s as if they’re trying to make their culture original by copying Europeans. NorthEast Americans became a parody of Brits, Germans, and Italians. “Ehh, I’m walking here,”, while southWest Americans became a parody of Mexicans, Japanese, and Chinese. Did they have any culture before 19th-20th century? Or was it just parody of whoever immigrated to America? It's almost like they take traits of their immigrants and venerate them to the extreme, creating a simulacra of the original culture.
