Train to become a blacksmith, maybe be a mercenary for a bit depending on my build. I assume I'm a peasant?

Born too late to suffer during the Dark Ages.
Born too early to suffer from the Black Death and Hundred Years' War.
Born just in time to enjoy increased agricultural yields and quality of life due to the Medieval Warm Period.

My region was (and still is somewhat) famous for its many cottage industries that are related to the manufacturing of blades. Most prominently swords of course but (agricultural) tools were of course the mainstay. So at best I would become a blade smith - but more likely I would either be a grinder and die of silicosis or a poor farmer/ charcoal burner.

This. Comfy rural agrarian lifestyle. I will die at the ripe old age of 60 surrounded by many grandchildren before the problems of the 14th century roll around.

Why did I think that was Uzbekistan next to the Caspian Sea during the 1200s when I saw that title and thumbnail?
>>

Cause this board is obsessed with the Eurasian steppe and the Caucasus region.
>>
>>18390718
More so the former than the latter desu.
The Caucasus is still pretty underrated.
