It says RICARDUS REX ANGLYA, III on the painting, how many more clues do you need?
>>
Wierd how the Byzantines killed, castrated, blinded and tortured each other's and sometimes their own children all the time and noone gives much of a shit.
>>
>>18400923
That's because everyone agrees that the Byzantines were ignoble savages compared to Western Europe.

Weren't his brothers trying to kill him for the throne? And isnt it still a debate were he truly killed them (his nephews) or not?

By the way, this still happens nowadays, just out of public's sight.

He wasn’t thinking, just blindly lusting after power. Thankfully, the good guys won.
>>
>>18401084
no, he did it to seize the throne, Edward V was the king and Richard III just the regent at the time
unless you meant it in in the sense of "he'd want to rule things himself once he grew up"

in the same sense there's some debate about if the world actually is round and if bears really shits in the woods

Edward IV killed his own brother, George Duke of Clarence. So it's divine justice what Richard III did to his sons.
>>
>>18402381
Clarence completely deserved it for betraying his own family juts for a bit of Neville pussy.
>>
>>18402401
Clarence realized he made a huge mistake. Edward forgave him for that, they even fought together on the same side to defeat Warwick.

It was 8 years after that betrayal that Edward ordered the execution of his own brother. Put him in house arrest or something (like Henry I did to Robert Curthose) but don't murder your brother.
