Because "God" is an evil demon

God doesn't, Jews and their American golem do.

>This is my covenant, which ye shall keep, between me and you and thy seed after thee; Every man child among you shall be circumcised.
Genesis 17 10

God *wanted them* to circumcise, he does not want us to do it. You're making an apology for Jews by ignoring the New Testament. Anyway, there's no need to take you seriously here, because we both know if a bunch of Germans wearing animal skins in 200 AD practiced ritual mutilation you'd say it was the coolest thing ever, even if it was something as extreme as removing a finger. Circumcision at the time was not that extreme -- merely involving the removal of the redundant bit of skin at the end. A fairly modest price in blood to show devotion to God.

I disapprove of the ritual slaughter of animals that Muslims and Jews do, despite the fact that my own ancestors used to do something eerily similair in pre-Christian times.
Do not strawman me.
>Circumcision at the time was not that extreme
Putting babies in an insane amount of pain is not extreme?
>redundant bit of skin
Circumcised cope.

Read Paul.

You failed to understand what I wrote, probably because you are circumcised and quite bitter about it. No, you dunce, I wasn't calling the whole foreskin redundant, I was referring to the bit at the end that doesn't cover the glans, that is what was removed. The removal of the entire foreskin was a later development. I don't think the pain would have been in the range of the unbearable, but it surely hurt. That's what a sacrifice is.

The will of Sophia filters into the archons' collective subconscious through their extremely powerful blind idiot retard filter. Hence Sophia's desire to free her divine sparks from the prison of the flesh and halt the propagation of further flesh prisons was manifested in the archons' minds as a command to sever flesh from reproductive organs.
>For the law having a shadow of good things to come, and not the very image of the things, can never with those sacrifices which they offered year by year continually make the comers thereunto perfect.

>In him also you were circumcised with a circumcision made without hands, by the removal of the body of the flesh in the circumcision of Christ; when you were buried with him in baptism, you were also raised with him through faith in the power of God, who raised him from the dead. (Colossians 2:11)

There may be a better way to phrase that, but I'm trying to reverse-engineer what might've been the original Pauline justification for believing that the literal interpretation of the Jewish law could often be safely ignored (because it wasn't directly from God), while at the same time some metaphysical truth could still be extracted from it by interpreting it allegorically.

I am uncircumcised, thankfully. Again do not strawman me.
>I was referring to the bit at the end that doesn't cover the glans
Not uncommon that people do not have enough foreskin to cover the glans to begin with.
>I don't think the pain would have been in the range of the unbearable
For babies it most certainly is, why do you think they cry rivers over the slightest discomfort?

this is one of many reasons why I believe Marcion when he says the jews worship yaldaboath

>le babies
it's about people, not age. the circumcision is about the covenant with God

Paul the literal Jew?
>>

For Jews. If you're not Jewish, there is no covenant. It's just a way for Jews to make themselves seem less bizarre and different from everyone else. That's why they spread circumcision despite it serving no useful purpose, it gives people one less thing to make fun of them for and to hold against them as different.

An eight day old human is not a baby?
