What are ghosts, fairies, etc. according to Christianity? They can't be angels, but they can't be demons either, because many of these beings and spirits aren't seeking to lead people astray. Sometimes they even seem to want people to go to church and become good Christians. Luther says that only angels and demons exist, but many Lutherans after him believed a third group also existed. Some Anglican theologians saw fairies as neutral angels banished to Earth for not siding with God, while other Christians saw them as unbiblical. Catholics and Orthodox do believe in possibility of ghosts. So what exactly are these spirits, if they can't be angels or demons, and if human souls can't return from dead.

>>18401554>everything is just angels or demonsHonestly kinda boring desu.
>>18401550This is literally an /x/ thread you mongoloid
>>18401550It's a very good question, I think there has only been a variety of opinion among authorities in church history, never a clear, unanimous declaration. Some consider them silly superstition, some have had personal experience with them but don't what to do with them or how to categorize them, a few will boldly proclaim their existance. Here's some stuff I've watched on the matter:https://www.youtube.com/live/iVnfLr9IBzU?si=aNLzeDvXHxa3rq0ahttps://youtu.be/VqjUNiU6TBA?si=nZ7z8wcXHntf023_

>>18401550They are spirits.
Demons.
They are neutral, intermediary spiritual beings between angels and demons. Not everyone accepts them but they seem to have sticking power. Kinda like djinns in Islam
>>18401577I don't believe the scripture he posted actually supports that view
