Is it true that Hitler managed to save Germany from being an impoverished country plagued by poverty before WW2, but people don't want to acknowledge it because then you'd be "le nazi sympathizer"? I remember watching some shitty eceleb on youtube that was talking about the good things dictators did, and when it came to Hitler he just said that we was an animal activist, but he didn't acknowledge how shit Germany's economy was before he came into power.
Yes, he literally made germany a superpower which hadn't happened since like Bismarck.
>>18401627Yes but it was heavy, heavy deficit spending so he was doing the nation leading equivalent of check kiting. Germany's entire economy was built on spending a fuck ton of money and then paying it off by looting the next conquered nation. This economy was not remotely sustainable without invading new places.
>>18401627because he didn't, quality of life for most germans didn't really increase past 1933 + most of the things he did was just the continuation of Weimar projects
>>18401627Yup, all fueled by loans that were going to be paid by new conquests... or so it was planned.
>>18401627>but people don't want to acknowledge it because then you'd be "le nazi sympathizer"?Pretty much every WW2 documentary mentions the good things Hitler did in the early 1930's, such as improving the economy and creating jobs. I don't it's controversial to say this.
