There are contemporary claims of peasants gang raping noblewomen during the Jacquerie (1358 peasant revolt) in France. The accounts portray the rebellious Frenchmen as almost comically evil horde of savage murder-rapists. Chronicler Jean le Bel's famous account on the mass violence includes a claim that the peasant rebels killed a nobleman, gang raped his wife, and then roasted his body and forced his wife to eat it before murdering rest of the family too. There are still so many reports of rape in the era that is certainly happened to some degree even if the most graphic narratives were exaggerated. A lot of it was also likely perpetuated by the idle mercenaries who took advantage of the disorder to run their own looting and ransoming side hustles which also included plenty of rape of female hostages and local girls regardless of class.
