Imagine you visit a foreign country, let's say Cambodia.Shortly after arriving, you find that the country's dominant religion is centered around a failed American presidential candidate, Mitt Romney. They worship The Romney as their god, and claim that if you believe in Him and accept Him into your life as your personal management consultant, you shall eternal life. Upon inquiry as to why none of them appear to have actually lived for a period of time that would indicate immortality, they clarify that the "eternal life" takes place at the supernal stock exchange in the afterlife. They have all sorts of artworks and trinkets with the initials "RUPA" emblazoned on it, which they explain to you stands for "Romney of Utah, President of Americans." This slogan is emblematic of their love-hate relationship with Americans. On the one hand, they discarded the religion of their own ancestors in favor of worshiping an American, and are obsessed with (their impression of) American culture to the point that they baptize their children in Pepsi cola. On the other hand, they are eternally frustrated about the fact that Americans refuse to accept Romney as their rightful President, and any criticism of Him is regarded as a profound act of the most wicked blasphemy. If you are Christian, think for a minute about what sort of opinion you would have of these people, and you may begin to understand how non-Christians see you.
Well.
>>18402708>discarded the religion of their own ancestorsAll my ancestors for the last ~1500 years have worshipped Mittens since they found out about him, I think it's pretty well established that Romneyism IS the religion of my ancestors
>>18402712>WellDrink from this well. I am the way, the truth, and the life, but the fruit of the antiRom "isded".
>>18402708Don't forget inviting Americans to live among them because according to the Romneyism some Americans must be the witnesses of the second coming of The Romney or otherwise The Romney cannot be the prophesied Ronald McDonald. You really touch on the most interesting bit of christianity, which is how they view the jews as a father who abandoned them. (They'll almost certainly accuse me of being jewish because of this post.)
