That's just semantics that Buddhists are needlessly convoluted about. They disagree with the specific Hindu idea of a soul but if there is no soul at all, no spiritual self that exists beyond our material self, then there is no rebirth nor liberation, there is just life and death in the exact way that atheists believe there to be and Buddhism is just simply pointless. Anything else requires some sort of belief in a soul, with a soul being an immaterial self that exists beyond our present flesh.

Christianity’s rejection of “muh earthly desires” is proof they are nothing more than a death cult who hates humanity. Everything “good” about Christian morality are things that were already widely agreed upon before Christianity set foot onto the scene. “Thou shalt not murder” and “thou shalt not steal” are quite literally the basic laws of every society and I’d be surprised if a country didn’t have those laws. To credit Christianity for them is an absurdity.

transcendentalism was obviously a mistake, if god is real he furnished our minds with the animist faculty in order to give ourselves the meaning to existence on this rock, which is materialist.
