Why are historical figures so often flanderized into black and whites? Why can't we acknowledge that they usually had some rights and some wrongs? Is it just because some humans are mentally ill and more likely to follow a flanderized form of a human being than the exact human being? Are autistic people flanderized humans?

>"why flanderize"
Propaganda.
>"Why not acknowledge"
Ontological shock to do so.
>"Is it because mental illness and human desire for instant gratification and safety"
Yes.
>"Are autistic people flanderized humans"
Yes.

i still don't get what ontology means
so this means that the majority of people are either mentally ill or performative

I hate that Bird is the word is now permanently associated with Peter griffin instead of the prolapsed anus guy in Pink flamingoes

Family Guy is one of the few cartoons that actually got better as the seasons went on imo. The earliest seasons didn't really age that well, Stewie was less "evil genius" and more like "he's a baby but he's super edgy" which you can only derive so much humor from and a lot of it in earlier seasons was actually kind of cringe

>implying I don't notice you inaccurately ripping off the original simpsons version of that pic
Stewie and Joe are the only characters whose writing got overall worse over the seasons, everyone else gained character from being made nastier and more caricatured.

So what were other shows you think that got better over time?
>>

Family Guy was originally pitched as an animated variety show spoofing the sort of programs that Seth MacFarlane grew up with in the 70s/80s. That's why early seasons have random musical numbers and references to some niche boomer celebrity. The shift came when the show was put on streaming services and had to dumb down their jokes in order to ensure younger and more retarded normie audiences would give them views.

This is also exactly why the creator of smiling friends decided to just end the show entirely.

It was originally a parody of All in the Family, hence the similar name

>Family Guy now passes 25 years rule
Damn

idols of ancestors/ idols which your fathers served, that kind of thing

Why do so many shows end up being parodies of parodies? I forgot the term but it's sort of inception.

>I forgot the term
TVTropes just calls it Seasonal Rot

Ah yes the whig theory of media

Pragmatic politics. At end of day you have to pick a side, and uncertainty means death
