>>18404358It's a mixture of just American culture, stereotypes (steak and potatoes, really?), and common sense ideas that apply to basically every culture. Like, "Work before play" is the paradigm in all of the third world, arguably even moreso then in the US. At least some White Americans with generational wealth can afford to not care much about work and focus on their hobbies.
