What are /his/ thoughts on this guy?>Inb4 botNo, I'm genuinelly asking.
>>18404900Balding thirty-something leftuber making videos on whatever. I haven't watched his vids in a long time.
>>18404900His Roman videos are mostly fun and entertaining, he has incredibly gay politics
I liked his astec videos he went into more detail than people do
>>18405359Its funny how this board likes videos by leftie /his/tubers but if someone is right leaning he gets called "schizo", even if its center-right.
>>18405384being right wing is mental illness
>>18405384I'm right-wing and I dislike his politics because he's a leftist
>>18405386sure, according to jewish psychiatrists. meanwhile you still have delusions of gas chambers and wooden doors, which is totally sane, right?>my grandfather got turned into a banister!
>>18404900For a while I was CONVINCED he was the Mesoanon. I like seeing him eat chalk and pull his gun on camera, it makes me laugh every time. His obsession with primary sources is uncomfortably close to mine. His line about "textbooks will tell you the names of the dead men, but they will not tell you how they slept" is really good. I don't know what his politics are but his struggle with alcoholism is pretty touching to witness, he dropped the booze and got shredded within a few videos. WAGMI shit.
>>18404900Can't trust anything he says, he was too retarded to play Fallout 1 and got filtered by the simple task of finding a rope
>>18405384He's a funko pop soi leftie
>>18405727I'm not him but me and my friends helped him with his aztec trilogyt. mesoanon
>>18404900Anyone not educated in didactics or history should not make videos on history.
>>18406442He's very much educated in history, he reads several books for each video, and he's currently attending college in order to get a master's degree in Native American history iirc.
>>18404900Unapologetic retard, that's why it's good
If you like western stuff be sure to read books he mentions. I find his videos to be that sweet spot between funny and informative, like a slightly less brazillian and vastly less comedic dovahatty. It's nothing ground breaking but it's fun, and I went back to watch his alcoholism double chin grow a while back through his videos which was weirdly hypnotic.
>>18406544Oh, and unlike the Esoterica kike you don't have to double check literally everything he says.
>>18406545What's wrong with esoterica?
>>18406083This, except that his STALKER review was the sign* for me.*sign for him being a faggot who's opinions aren't to be taken seriously.
>>18406592My own reflexive mistrust of THE VILE (reconstructionist) JUDEN aside, I've noticed he often frames things to fit his own narrative or will take an interpretation that's pretty out there and rather poorly supported. Or he'll rely on laziness to get his own interpretation across, knowing his audience won't/can't check the sources. He is good for a surface view, but that's it. His reading list isn't bad, but it's also rather curated for a particular point of view. I think he's basically Haanegraaf but american. And to be fair, Haanegraaf's not exactly subtle about it. To use Haanegraaf's introductory text as an example, arbitrarily redefining 'the west' to include north africa and the middle easy as a political point before ignoring his definition and exclusively focusing on works that were disseminated, created or popularised in Europe. Or putting the spanish reconquista in quotes as though it's a lie only he's clever enough to see, and the way he dances around how Toledo was originally conquered. Or the way his criticism is almost exclusively for 'the west' rather evenly distributed among the works of people who have more grounds for being criticised than the actual targets of his criticism. By all means, watch him, but double check everything he says. Some of it is terribly difficult to read if it even has a translation in your own language but it's worthwhile and you'll get a more accurate view.
>>18407465And when I say Haaneg's criticism of the west, I mean the west or the authors who would be native to it in the normal course of things as a whole rather than authors living in the region. He's quite happy to 'call out' 'misogyny' of an author, even if that's part of the times.. unless they're 'marginalised', like Spinoza, or islamic.
He is in my suscribed list alongside Esoterica, Asianometry, Economics Explained, whatifalthist, Religion for Breakfast, Perun, Warfronts+, Hoser, Quinn's Ideas, Paleoanalysis and The Exploring Series, RealLifeLore, The Cold War, Wendigoon and Kaiserbauch among others, they all have things to offer even if sometimes I can't see eye to eye, and yes I included fiction tubers because they contributed with a certain literary and cultural vibe, I dropped Monsieur Z, Second Thought and Esoteric Guardian because they became too monotone and/or dishonest even if they have some reasonable points or a few interesting topics, quit Lazerpig after one video due not finding his jokes funny, he tries to satirize too much, I prefer CallMeEzequiel over Kraut as the later suffers from too much blue pill which arguibly is an issue with most of Simon works too, whike Ezequiel can still be funny and I appretiate the effort his team puts on the countryballs.
>>18407481What keeps you subscribed to whatifalthist, his stuff is terrible
>>18407505His only drawback is being a bit too much of a migatard and even that it's more of the Rubio neocon one who still wants to keep US hegemony over the world and sincerely do you want to put someone like AOC in charge? Aside from that he is a classic liberal capistalist from the WW2 era with an understanding of traditional mysticism.Him praising Winston Churchill automatically filtered out millions upon millions of browns, then pointing out jews are indeed involved in fucking up a lot of civilization due their out-of-the-guetto trauma but not being the only ones responsible of everything (because whites too had moral agency and fucked it up) while recognizing Israel should be supported BECAUSE it's a western colony in muslism lands even if just is a tribal dispute with palestinians is the most honest take I have ever seen in a pro-israeli supporter, (fun fact, he also has a nationalist iranian following for telling how the ayatollahs ruined Iran, just look at their birth rates and water supplies), he also supports Ukraine despite calling Zelensky a dictator because he has shown how Russia has virtually all the vices of Western societies up to eleven (divorce, abortion, totalitarianism, schizo doctrines) and no one deserves to be under a russian boot. He made it clear even while it's tempting to support people like Putin, CCP, the Islamic Republic and all the subhumans currently being shilled by /pol/ that's just siding with an even worst version of everything bad in our era, they are even worst than the fags at WEF and unlike them you can't vote them away, he also told blacks how they have been sold by their own elites and should get an education rather than depend on the state while still praising their art, music and overall cultural skills.TL;DR: Rudyard doesn't give a shit about (you)s or pre-fabricated agendas an ideologies, draws his own conclusions and sticks to what he believes is right even if 90 percent of the internet call him a schizo.
>>18405727apparently this guy has never heard of social history or microhistory.
>>18406452>attending college in order to get a master's degree in Native American history iirc.what a pointless endeavor. at least go for something relevant like Reformation history or Founding stock history.I'm attending right now but my breadth of study is pretty broad, just going for generalities for now before I specialize further.>>18406545I can't stand the way he talksoh and I had a channel too, but Youtube nuked it because in one of my videos I made some disparaging remarks about modern women in it. can't go offending the harpies anymore these days. the internet used to be fun. now it just sucks.
>>18407465I got that Hanegraff book because everyone kept talking about it.
>>18407783It's not a bad book, it covers the basics, established broad categories and genres, touched on the history and on the development of certain traditions. It's just that the blatant political stuff sticks out more because of it. It's worth a read. Though I will cop to finding the bibliography funny because it's got about 4 pages of him quoting himself.
>>18407505NTA, but him and I mine similar territory on the incel issue, except I put my shit into writing in addition to making video content. however, I got banned from youtube so I just use substack and compile my stuff into pdfs for sale.
>>18407864he's very obviously a shill from what I've heard of it but that's like 99% of academics. being to the right of Obama will get you cancelled in academia every time. its just how the institution works. doesn't help the student body tends to be composed of people who are big babies about inconvenient facts.
>>18407888Like I said about Wouter's definitions and politics, they're obvious. It doesn't make it any less a decent read especially as it's blatant, though 50 percent of the book is bibliography and notes and index so I'd download it.I might even be being unfair to the esoterica kike and he may be assuming pre-existing knowledge of his audience, but I don't think I am.
>>18407465Well I can confirm his Mesoamerican stuff is alright from what I can remember.
