Akshually, the modern academic stance on the sea people and the bronze age collapse is:
>they were simply a bunch of different peoples from all over the Mediterranean world, particularly places like the greek isles, the levant and maybe Sicily. Also, the bronze age collapse wasn't actually anywhere near as apocalyptic as traditionally thought, and it was probably just caused by a complex combination of all the shit people have theorized caused it (except the wacky bicameral mind shit). There isn't really much of a mystery to solve, the end.

Wrong again, chud. It was caused because the Hebrews turned away from Yahweh. It's like you people haven't even read the entire Old Testament

>urnfield culture spreads through Europe
>they reach Mycenaea in 1250 BC prompting massive fortification efforts
>they would also influence the Etruscan culture, Gauls and celts across Europe
>the practice of cremation, mentioned in the Iliad, and elegant bronze swords are transmitted by this new warrior culture
>climate cools and there is less rainfall around 1200 BC and tribes facing famine go to war for plunder and land
>unlike other wars driven by the personal gain of a few warriors, these are driven by survival and masses of desperate people
>Mycenaeans and other cultures like the Nuragics of Sardinia (Sherden) take to the seas
>they link up with other fleets and raid the coasts together
>other Mediterranean civilizations are themselves struggling with drought and now invasion
>all collapse except Egypt and Assyria, the former with only a small area to defend relative to its size, the latter further inland, though it would become a hypermilitarized terror state as it endured the apocalypse
>sea peoples no doubt fight against each other for the spoils until all their numbers are dwindled

Hard to explain what happened when nobody documented what happened.
