How did this proto-atheist movement successfully convince millions of people that the “salvation from damnation” psyop was real and that humanity was somehow in a “fallen sinful state” (it isn’t)?

Every other pagan system failing to answer the problem of human evil and behaviour in a satisfactory way

And a man rising from the dead

Evil doesn't exist. Plato and jews made it up

I love how aggressively retarded e-pagans are. Thanks for making sure that anyone with a modicum of intellectual curiosity becomes Catholic.

That wasn't church doctrine until the 400s and still isn't in Orthodox churches

They already did. Evil is not a force opposed to good but merely the absence of it. Compare this to how darkness is not a force opposed to light, but merely the absence of it. Pagan philosophers like Plato and Cicero already answered it long before Christianity was a thing and they did it far better than Christianity ever did.

>they did it far better than Christianity ever did
Yet Christianity supplanted their arguments even among the learned

Evil is arguably the thing that christianity handles the worst compared to almost any other religion, including European polytheism. The Epicurean paradox doesn't even make sense outside of the context of christianity.

>it isn’t
The wages of sin is death
Everyone dies
Everyone sins

>Things die
>Therefore we must blindly accept that the earth was only created in 7 days and that two of every animal was shoved into a single tiny boat.
