Vgh... what covld have been...
Are those pikmin?
Modern communists don't want to reach the stars or want humanity to reach new heights though. They want simple lives in agrarian communes where they get to be gay also.
>>18412631I know. It's depressing. Americans don't want to go to space anymore either they are just trying to make Jesus come back.
>>18412631>Modern communistsNo such thing communism like fascism is a dead ideology. Talking about modern is like talking about modern Latin, it doesn't exist.
>>18412890>No such thing communism like fascism is a dead ideologyIt is alive in my heart.
>>18412631>>18412634Space-haters piss me off for real, such a boring and unambitious band of sourpusses who want to keep the rest of us dragged down with them. Boggles my mind that people aren't excited for and enticed by the idea of pushing our boundaries beyond the Earth and exploring the final frontier as much as we can.
>>18412634>Americans don't want to go to space anymore eitherAmericans are literally sending astronauts back to the moon tomorrow
>>18413017But does the average person care? Everyone is too wrapped up in themselves.
>>18413028How can we get more people interested in Space? Like SpaceX or not, I think they're doing a pretty good job at getting normalfags onboard with Elon's futurist visions. I think the problem is to people working within the space industry, it's exciting but it's also their jobs, and most work going into spaceflight is towards orbital payloads for various launch contractors, which isn't exactly romantic. Maybe the silver lining is that people don't care about spaceflight as much as they used to because it's so commonplace now, which is kind of insane we've even made it to this point when you really think about it.
>>18413040I think space should strictly be the domain of the government, not private individuals.
>>18413041The fact of the matter is that if it were purely in the domain of the government, we would never have gotten this far. Even Apollo was built on the shoulders of companies like Lockheed. Right now most innovation in spaceflight is coming from private companies with demand for more and more payload to orbit driving much of it. The only realistic way to move forwards in spaceflight is by building a self-sustaining space economy, which is the crux behind NASAs Commercial Payload Services program
>>18413048>Even Apollo was built on the shoulders of companies like Lockheed.Who largely worked for the government.
>>18413010You WILL be a humble farmer and you WILL like it.
>>18413010There is just not really any point in going into space, too much effort for too little reward
>Couldn't even make it to the moon onceThe Soviet Union was a paper bear all throughout its existence.
