The closest thing to Aztec religion on Earth today is Vedic and Chinese traditional religion
It's decentralized but gods follow some archetypes, every city has their own version of the gods. Festivals/ritual calendars are very important for the populace. Also Aztecs had their own zodiac calendar which was separate from the agricultural calendar. The big difference is obviously people aren't openly human sacrificed in those religions now but apart from that they're very similar
