Did the Apostle Paul murder Ananias and Sapphira?
>>18413069Probably not because it's very unlikely that the writer of acts had any first hand accounts from that period. We can't even be sure if Ananias and Sapphira were real people.
>>18413117You also have to take into account that the entire Eastern mediaterranean religious complex was at the time very fertile ground for insane legends. What got into the New Testament is mild compared to the Infancy Gospels, for example. Not to bring up legends from the other religions current at the time.
>>18413069Probably not because Paul wasn't a Christian yet at the time. I assume you mean Peter, like the image says.
>>18413069No. They were half assing their religion and they didn't support the karmic load associated with it and it backfired on them.>inb4 fedoras and fundies gang up to tell me i'm wrong
