Operation Ajax was a 1953 CIA and British-led covert coup that overthrew Iran's democratically elected Prime Minister, Mohammad Mossadegh, reinstating the authoritarian Shah, Mohammad Reza Pahlavi. Driven by the nationalization of Iran's oil industry and Cold War fears, the operation involved bribery, propaganda, and orchestrated street violence to solidify Western control, directly leading to decades of dictatorship and anti-American sentiment.

BP and US hate Democracy.

BP (formerly Anglo-Iranian Oil Company) was central to the 1953 Iranian coup d'état ("Operation Ajax")—not a modern war—by prompting the UK/US to overthrow Prime Minister Mohammad Mosaddegh after he nationalized Iran's oil industry. This action, taken to protect British oil profits and control, established a legacy of mistrust leading to the 1979 revolution.

Inevitable self destruction. Remove Britannia (aka Ishtar Athena Venus worship). Bring back Albion.
Such kinds of opposites will never work together. Its either one or the other.
Iran must stand strong among the womanly countries that cover the world.

The clergy who currently run Iran originally supported the 1953 coup and only turned against the shah because his secular policies stripped them of their feudal estates. They never opposed the shah for his authoritarianism but rather for his secularism, otherwise they wouldn't have purged more leftists in a single year than fucking Pinochet did during his entire 17-year long rule over Chile https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/1988_executions_of_Iranian_political_prisoners

During his tenure as chairman of the AIOC following the Second World War, Fraser's management of the Iranian concession became highly consequential. By 1950, neighboring oil agreements, such as the arrangement between the Arabian American Oil Company (ARAMCO) and Saudi Arabia, had shifted to a 50/50 profit-sharing model. Fraser, however, steadfastly refused Iranian demands to renegotiate the AIOC's terms to match this emerging market standard. Despite explicit warnings from the United States Department of State—notably from Assistant Secretary of State George C. McGhee, who traveled to London to personally urge Fraser to compromise to avoid radicalizing Iranian politics—Fraser maintained a rigid negotiating posture. Historians widely cite Fraser's intransigence as a primary catalyst for the Iranian parliament's decision to pass the 1951 oil nationalization law under Prime Minister Mohammad Mosaddegh. The resulting Abadan Crisis severely damaged the Iranian economy and ultimately set the geopolitical conditions for the 1953 Iranian coup d'état.

BP was started in an attempt to get the rights to oil rights owned by William Knox D'Arcy. They were competing against the Rothschilds; and the famous British Spy Sydney Reilly (the prototype for James Bond) was involved.

For the /tv/ version, see episode 4 of the famous 1980's TV production "Reilly: Ace of Spies"
