It’s not about which state is better or more democratic. It’s about which one is being a leech.

Ukraine is sunk cost fallacy manifest. They want to conquer hostile (to them) enemy territory in Crimea and Novorossiya and bleed it dry for the resources. Good luck killing all of Donetsk, Lukhansk, Zaphorizha. They will all die sooner than join with Kiev.
