>>18423391Coin collecting. Currently holding this ducaton minted by the Province of Zeeland in 1790 with >1 oz of silver as I type this
>>18423437Same, I have a few 1880s Silver Morgan Dollars and a few Roman Imperial coins in pretty rough shape, also a couple 1 Reichspfennig Zinc coins from the Second World War
>>18423450Nice! Silver is doing all sorts of crazy things right now. So is gold. Appreciate those Morgans anon and check to see if any are Carson City (rare and desired), I'm a few away from a full date set 1878-1904, then 1921
>>18423412i do this too sometimes
>>18423456>Nice! Silver is doing all sorts of crazy things right now.Damn you're right, I haven't been keeping up, just last year spot prices for 1oz was around $30 and now it's hovering around $70. Still going to hold out though. The sentimental value for me is still higher than their market value (which for Morgan Dollars seem to be around $100 at the moment)
>>18423466Same for me, I'm too sentimental with my coins to sell them any time soon
>>18423457It’s become a bit of an obsession honestly. My current project is to put about a decade of family research into two or three printed volumes.
