>>18423488I surrender to the western allies, unconditionally on the surface but obviously arrange for some favorable conditions for myself like the Hirohito did in our timeline. Obviously it would not involve me holding any public post even in a ceremonial manner and the Nazi party would probably still have to be banned, but it beats dying or being locked up. Number 1 priority is arranging for all of Germany to be in western hands, and hopefully as much of the territories on the eastern front that the Soviets have not captured yet. After the war will end I would be a private citizen and placed under constant censorship on public matters. Nevertheless I would still hold some influence on the German people and perhaps a portion of western people in general, and I would be permitted to use it during the Cold War to rally the public against the Soviets and Communism. I would also ditch imperial Japan and throw my moral support behind Chiang Kai-Shek against the CCP.
