The New Testament but as a fantasy rpg.
>>18423502Pretty sure the New Testament would be against the whole "kill God" ultimate objective of Morrowind though...
>>18423526The Temple Cult = Sadducees or Pharisees, 2nd temple cultThe Empire = RomeAshlanders = other jewish sects like the Essenes or more likely the ZealotsHouse Hlaalu = Herodian dynastyHelseth = King HerodHouse Redoran and House Dagoth = ZealotsDagoth Ur = Simon bar Kokhba or other violent jewish messianic figuresthe Nerevarine = jewish Messiah/Jesus Christ, he was supposed to liberate Morrowind/Judea and expel the N'wah/Goyim but he didn't do it and instead Morrowind/Judea got destroyedRed Mountain eruption = Aftermath of the Bar Kokhba rebellionVeloth = MosesNerevar = King DavidChimer being cursed and turning into the Dunmer = jews getting punished in the old testamentDwemer = Canaanites

>>18423526The sharmat is explicitly a false dreamer. But the sixth house is based.
>>18423684Yep, Dagoth Ur did nothing wrong.
>>18423502>race of snobby orthodox religionfags who believes they are superior is puppeteering the government of men and persecuting those who worship a man who was said to be God because it disgusts themWhat did the writers mean by this?
>>18423735Talos is honestly a bigger deal to them than Jesus is to us.It's also the "wrong" way to divinity.
>>18423823the arcturian heresy is false
>>18423825it's at least got the dead skin motif
>>18423502Honestly genuinely fascinating setting and fictional world history. Morrowind also really scratches that itch of "foreign and exotic land becomes familiar and weird becomes normal". Despite being dated, I'd honestly even say Morrowind is a fun 'Immigrant Simulator' in how it captures the experience of being a foreigner in a strange new place and having to learn its idiosyncrasies.
>>18423539But who's John the Baptist and Paul?
>>18423539Ashlanders could also be Samaritans
>>18423606>RFK Jr. as Cosiaus coasdsedueskek how did i never see that
>>18424047Maybe St. Jiub?
>>18423502
>>18423539Where does Fargoth fit in?
>>18424903St.Jiub is Peter. The Paul equivalent hasn't met the Nerevarine. Maybe Paul would be an important character who us only mentioned in the books but didn't appear in Morrowind but is said to live there during the Nerevarine's time? The John the Baptist equivalent would be maybe Nibani Maesa or maybe Sul-Matuul.>>18425072Maybe one of the minor gospel figures who was helped by Jesus.
>>18424903>>18425104St. Jiub could work as St. Paul. He didn't meet again the Nerevarine after the bote incident, he became a saint in his absense and he was also beheaded. Like Peter and Paul he also went to the main province of the Empire and died there.
