what would've happened if Japan never bombed Pearl Harbour and never invaded America in WW2? Much like the Germans they were killing it with invading and occupying nearby countries but then they took it too far and flew too close to the sun. What would've happened and where would they be today if that changed? What happens to China?

Japan never invaded America in WW2. They raided Hawaii(which wasn't even a state at the time), conducted a few submarine attacks on the American west coast, and that's it.

They captured the Aleutian islands which are American territory, not to mention, they also occupied the Philippines and Guam.

The conducted attacks on Alaska and there was also a failed attack on oil fields in Southern California

not really the point of the thread, the Japs knew well they were attacking an american asset

shape of japan is so kino, the type of design for an island continent perfect for a fantasy map/world. Also for those that know more about Japan's regions who is getting the best cut of Japan? I know soviets got the snowiest and Tokyo looks to be divided between USA and soviet?

>Thing, Japan :O

I mean theres not really that many sizeable island chains that are commonly know, I know the Phillippines, Hawaii is lame looking, uh Indonesia. Not sure what else
>>

I think Australia and the UK as islands could work in a fantasy setting. California too but that's not an island unless you're looking at old Spanish maps
>>
>>18425019
Australia is enormous despite technically being an island so much of the people live in parts that are extremely landlocked, UK certainly has its coast but its really only like 2 or 3 separate chunks

If Japan bombed refilling oil exports and logistical supply. Would delay US navy?
