Why did this never happen?
>>
>>18425308
Thankfully FDR and Willkie both croaked before the war ended.
>>
>>18425308
this only works if you assume everyone is competent, moral, and willing to work. It's the sort of bill of rights you would expect a WASP bubble boy who's never had to live near non-whites and poor people to come up with.
>>
>>18425308
Because anything that involves someone else's free labor isn't a right.

We don't need a centrally planned, artificial economy, zero privacy, and busywork. We need a Bill of Wrongs (a list of thing the government is prohibited from doing that fucks regular americans) and to deport 100 million illegals, visa workers, and anchor babies and their entire families, and every Jewish American that is more loyal to Israel than the US, and all zionists, muslims, and mormons.
>>
>>18425319
I'm glad you included Mormons. I hate those crypto Muslims so fucking much it's unreal.
>>
>>18425323
The LDS church is a malicious parasite in the USA's ass. It is also overwhelmingly zionist. Fuck the mormons.

>a job
Legal nightmare. What would this entail, not letting employers fire retard/useless employees? Forcing them to hire retard/useless employees? I don't think I need to explain why this is stupid.
>an adequate wage and decent living
This is minimum wage, ostensibly. Now you could argue that it's not adequate, but it'd be the same thing as arguing against whoever was interpreting this item as well.
>a decent home
There are housing projects, people ruin them. If you enacted this, you'd have a huge amount of druggies, trailer park retards, etc. trashing homes until they're unlivable, and then the taxpayer would have to fund construction for their new homes. Massive drain on the taxpayer for no real benefit.
>medical care
We essentially already have this, if you don't have insurance then you will be treated anyway, and they'll bill you, which you just never pay. Tons of people do this.
>economic protection during sickness, accident, old age or unemployment
Fair.
>a good education
Define "good". And public school is already free. Tons of kids don't want to learn and are impossible to teach, so it's fine to dump them off in the shittier schools and give the kids with potential to the better schools.

>it's fine to dump them off in the shittier schools and give the kids with potential to the better schools.

my parents sent me to a state high school because they thought religious and private schools turn you into an out of touch faggot (which is true tbqh.)
>>
>>18425352
It's not a good thing to be "in touch" with meth head trailer park people. I assume your parents didn't want you getting further than them in life.

Because it was insane. The only right any one has is to worshio a dictator and march in his army. Why should the weak be given a house while they work not? If this system was followed, no one would choose to work, and society would end. We need to destroy the weak, humiliate them on tv then execute them via scaphism or brazen bull. We need empire. We need Caesar. These are the times of weak men, but strong men are taking the wheel, and the strong men will roar.
>>
>>18425360
deep down you are not much different from the meth heads. you have no sense of responsibility for society.
>>
>>18425367
Paco, this is a Wendy's drive through.
>>
>>18425314
gee willkers, anon, I think everyone™ deserves a fair shake and two second chances teehee.
>>
>>18425369
Zamn...... that's deep, bro.....
>>
>>18425377
Pol Pot had some good ideas.
>>
>>18425374
Franklin, your naivety disturbs me.
>>
>>18425308
Because those things are hard to define (what is a 'good' education? what is 'decent' living?) and even harder if not impossible to implement. The US constitution generally works by prohibiting the government from taking certain actions against their citizens, indirectly granting them freedom rather than specifically granting its citizens a narrowly specified freedom with a nebulous definition.
>>
>>18425308
Because its dangerously close to communism and who would do all the necessary crappy jobs?
>>
>>18425308
I feel like the first two are incompatible with eachother. I'm all for minimum wage jobs being forced to hire people on without having to pressure applicants on work history because people need to start somewhere to gain work experience to begin with and for a lot of people without work experience it could be a major hurdle sometimes depending on how long you've been out of work. I don't think this should guarantee higher paying jobs though where work experience is far more of a requirement. I think if companies only want to pay minimum wage, then they should be forced to hire people, if they don't want to, then they'll simply have to raise their wages for existing employees.
>>
>>18425342
Far as housing goes you could make part of the agreement to take care of the house yourself so druggies would have to maintain their own place
>>
>>18425389
But they won't, which will lead to areas turning into slums overnight and property values to plummet, and if the plan is to force druggies to maintain their home that isn't going to work either because you'd end up with a situation where maintenance standards are being determined by retarded suits who don't know what they're doing anyways
>>
>>18425308
Who decides what wage is adequate, what education is good, what home is decent?
What is to prevent politicians from increasing the definition of these terms to promise services beyond what a state is fiscally able to sustain?
>>
>>18425389
Would never work, any attempt to enforce that would inevitably get the mentally ill freaks with a law degree suing the fedgov/stategov over how it was a violation of the druggies rights to a home.

That's the real issue with a lot of this stuff, you're going to get those national lawyers guild freaks working pro-bono around the clock to ensure the rights of dysfunctional losers aren't violated
>>
>>18425386
Wow! It's almost as if the crappy jobs that are actually necessary for society to function deserve compensation relative to their value! But no it's much more important to give the the guy who sits in an office all day doing nothing important, meaningful, or couldn't be done by literally anyone else just as effectively, a billion more dollars.
>>
>>18425392
What a stupid fucking non-question. How do you legally define anything? As if things like this wouldn't be constantly be adapted to suit changing contexts.
>>
>>18425404
I agree, down with the professional-managerial class, it's time to look out for our blue-collars once again. Oh, you want to keep importing migrants to do their jobs? And you tell them to "learn to code" instead? Doesn't look like you care too much
>>
>>18425404
If it's so easy to sit in le office and anyone can do it, then just start a company, retard.
>>
>>18425406
>Implying Liberals are communists
>Implying the professional managerial class wasn't a giant scam to make actually useful work socially stigmatizing and economically impoverishing in order to break the power of domestic labor.
>>18425407
>Implying the people who sit on company boards actually started those businesses.
>>
>>18425405
In South Africa they are given a right to healthcare.
There are people who die without care every single day in South Africa. The words on paper in the constitution didn't translate to services being rendered
>>
>>18425414
One can say that about literally any law. All laws are upheld by a combination of state power and the social contract. South Africa has little of either.
>>
>>18425308
Because that's communism lol.
>>18425386
Your assumption that nobody would do those "crap jobs" is rooted in the idea that those people deserve to live like wretched animals just because they aren't surgeons or finance fags. It's that hostile attitude towards workers that subliminally eases you into accepting the idea of an underclass of illegal aliens to take those jobs because you're too good to pay someone a living wage to do them.
>>
>>18425413
>>Implying the people who sit on company boards actually started those businesses.
Many of them did, yeah? Bezos for example?

Sorry I'm disrupting your fantasy/bitching session, I guess. Get on back to it.
>>
>>18425308
>Why did this never happen?
Capitalism
>>
>>18425308
Language is too murky.
>>
>>18425342
>economic protection during sickness, accident, old age or unemployment
Ain’t that just disability, social security, and what not Skeeter?
