Other than the death toll, what makes the bombing of Tokyo or Dresden or Hiroshima worse than any other bombing of the time?
The logic behind them was the same:
>Tokyo was the capital of Japan.
>Dresden was a transportation hub.
>Hiroshima was a logistical center.
The argument I hear most is:

which sucks but civilians died in all other bombings too, so what makes these particular bombings so much worse?

I'm not sure I've ever seen anyone besides neo-nazis and anti-american propagandists BAWW about Dresden and Tokyo.
Hiroshima and Nagasaki are only controversial because nukes were used, which are seen as ontologically evil for some reason.
