US nuclear build up was extremely limited to the point the third bomb the US was going to drop on Japan befored they surrendered wasn't even fully ready yet, it also runs into the other issue of you need to secure air dominance to fully use since you needed good old bombers for, in which case you will need air strips which would require the army to get involved meaning you had to hope the American public, and the public in Western Europe to approve of another war, which was never going to happen

Geopolitics was ruled by mutual defense pacts rather than some elected officials who "condemned" national governments. The US didn't have the power or desire to be world police in the 1910s.
