The Industrial Revolution was a process of trading one's soul for material goods
>>
>>18437866
humanity's soul*
>>
>>18437866
The Elites have always done this, though. It's just that the new technology allowed them to do it on such a scale that it poisoned the goyim as never before. They've always sent golems into the mines and worked them to death and shit. But now they had factories belching out smog and dumping chemical waste into the water supply.
>>
>>18437866
The Electronics Revolution was far worse. At least the Industrial Revolution gave us material goods, the electronic revolution on the other hand convinced billions of retards that 1s and 0s were tangible objects with value and tricked everyone into wasting away in front of a computer instead of going out into the real world. I think the AI Revolution will be a much-needed course correction because AI taking over the internet is finally going to convince the world how much of a joke the whole thing is

As much as I hate the Internet and the modern world I think the Internet has had one significant upside and that's force people to accept the world for what it is. It either turns you into an immoral sociopath or it gives you spiritual and psychological understanding on levels mystics in the past could only dream of attaining.
>>
>>18437866
Nah. Humanity is as wicked as it's always been. The Industrial revolution was glorious though. What a curious time in history.
>>
>>18437984
>and that's force people to accept the world for what it is.
It doesn't. It distorts the world based on a million different biases and agendas. The internet is extremely efficient and delivering misinformation and extremely inefficient at delivering useful information. You drank the coolaid pretty badly I'm afraid, you aren't immune to propaganda.

lmao, what a load of absolute horseshit. The internet doesn't tell me jack shit about the real world. It tells me the opinions of some retards on twitter on their personal politics and manic cluster-B retards bitching about minute inconveniences in their personal lives in order to garner attention and imaginary likes. The internet is a complete fucking joke. The sooner the world realizes this the sooner society can heal.

I actually argued a similar point in an article I wrote for substack. Basically, for most people rejected by society, its a way for those to meet like minded individuals who greater society would reject. This site being a prime example. So that people that want to LARP as Ted K can bitch about technology using technology.

People choose to dilute themselves with porn and other slop entertainment, but stuff like "alternative media" wasn't even a thing until recently. Online social media apps aren't perfect but you can see war crimes at your fingertips and force you to realize the nature of this world in a way you never would've seen. Translation apps and pdfs also allow you to read philosophical and metaphysical books that you could only read in monasteries before. Again, most people can't handle the truths and choose to let their brains rot, but if you choose to use the Internet to learn you can achieve the pre-modern man's lifelong dreams in just a few years.
>>
>>18438011
Like minded people used to meet in the real world, the internet ruined that, it's built on social media algorithms meant to keep you addicted, and since society at large is addicted to the internet, it's a feedback loop, people can't meet in the real world organically anymore. The internet is a very poor replacement for real human interaction, real human interaction involved things like facial expressions and hand gestures and the tones if one's voice in real time in a way that social media can't really recreate. Ultimately it's made most things worse than better. It's certainly responsible for the loneliness epidemic.
>So that people that want to LARP as Ted K can bitch about technology using technology.
It's not realistic to expect everyone to stop using this shit. My point is that we should stop taking it so seriously. The internet is not the revolutionary technology that big tech companies want you to believe that it is. We landed on the moon before the internet was widely adopted.

>but stuff like "alternative media" wasn't even a thing until recently. Online social media apps aren't perfect but you can see war crimes at your fingertips and force you to realize the nature of this world in a way you never would've seen.
1.) You're wrong, we've always had alternative media
2.) It's not useful to anyone to see war crimes carried out on liveleaks. There is literally nothing practical to be done with this information. The internet did not stop war crimes, the people watching these things happening aren't going to use it for anything meaningful. It's a distraction. Every single "truth" you think has real value is a distraction. What matters is what is tangible. Those war crimes aren't tangible to you. What is tangible is your own communities, and you let social media distract you from this. You're a grandstanding idiot and you're not as smart as you think you are.

This is a cope and I can only you're too young to remember the war in Afghanistan and Iraq. The only reason why people aren't lining up to die for Iran in the US is because people saw the shit the US and Israel has done for the past few years and refuse to take part of it. In the past the US government could say the dumbest stuff like connecting 9/11 to Iraq and the populace would've eaten it up.
>>
>>18438039
>The only reason why people aren't lining up to die for Iran in the US
The war in Iran hasn't stopped you idiot. There's an ongoing Naval blockade. Fun fact, while the US military was busy air striking Irans leadership, there were still operations happening in Syria until just this week. "People aren't lining up" lmao my fucking ass.
>>
>>18438039
You are unfathomably stupid. Conscientious objectors protesting Vietnam didn't have social media, so your premise is completely baseless. Furthermore, the only person with internet brainrot is you if you seriously believe that whatever the government says has any effect on who does and doesn't want to enlist to blow up Muslims because the military is still a job with pension at the end of the day. The people volunteering are doing a job, they aren't putting moral value judgement on their work in the first place you fucking idiot.
>>
>>18438019
>Like minded people used to meet in the real world, the internet ruined that
yeah for mainstream hobbies, usually. not niche underground shit that no one can find otherwise
>it's built on social media algorithms meant to keep you addicted
well, you could say that about a lot of media technologies. why do you think couch surfing was a huge problem, and people got addicted to video games? literally any technology, especially media technology, is designed to keep you hooked. we could even extend this to things like ovens, which prior to the invention of the electric or gas oven, people used to cook over fire, but since that was a time-consuming process, these new ovens streamlined the process, its mostly about convenience. why go to the library when people upload pdfs to web libraries? furthermore, the availability of the internet allowed people who were interested in the same thing to not have to travel thousands of miles for a convention every year or month and made it more efficient.
>Ultimately it's made most things worse than better. It's certainly responsible for the loneliness epidemic.
the loneliness epidemic is caused by feminism and women and men's differently wired brains trying to adjust to aftereffects of giving 50% the population rights. women simply take advantage of men's adherence to rules and logic and simply see them as a means to an end. Its definitely not right but also people simply just care about women way too much to do anything about it (see the women-are-wonderful-effect https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Women-are-wonderful_effect). men are simply just pawns on a chessboard to them.
>>
>>18438058
The Women-are-Winderful effect was coined and studied before the widespread use of the internet and does not in anyway correlate to the loneliness epidemic. You know what does correlate to the loneliness epidemic though? The proliferation of social media. Stop giving me walls of text. You are not an intelligent person. You're trying to justify an addiction that's making everyone's lives worse because it provides you with instant gratification.
>>
>>18438009
precisely. because I enjoy getting under peoples' skin.
>>
>>18438063
it does though, and in fact it accelerates it. why do you think Clavicur or how ever you say his name exist? he has very feminine, model-like features. its not even a matter of sociology at that point but rather aesthetics. female and youth like features are prized above all else. those people are perceived as unable to do anything wrong so the public excuses them.
>>
>>18438058
>furthermore, the availability of the internet allowed people who were interested in the same thing to not have to travel thousands of miles for a convention every year or month and made it more efficient.
But it's not the same, none of what we're even doing right now is the same as real socialization. We're both sending text into a void, and we'll probably forget all of this by next week. This is a huge problem, because people like you are convinced that what we're doing is the same as interacting with people in real life but it just isn't, at least you can be honest about it
I don't even think the internet is particularly good at even sharing controversial ideas because people use to just do this kind of shit at bars and pubs. You're acting like neo-nazis didn't exist before the year 2000
>>
>>18438063
Also you seem very upset. You should probably hit up porn hub to get rid of that excess anger.
>>
>>18438072
Probably not, but I don't see time going backwards any time soon.
>>
>>18438072
And no, I don't necessarily mean neo-Nazis, either. Thats an egregious example.

We don't have to go back in time. I'm not saying we should be luddites, I just can't stand it when people think any of this is meaningful. The internet was better when it was just memes and people shitposting
>>
>>18438039
Only reason I ate it up back then is because I really just didn't like brown people. Full stop. Getting bullied by them in school is why I was a bit of a Zionist.
>>
>>18438082
Yeah I guess but what about before that, like the 1980s-early 1990s bbs era. I argue the real decline began when minorities (aside from Asians) and women started using it in droves. The internet was supposed to be a haven for the pocket-protector crowd.
>>
>>18438042
You're selectively choosing to be a doomer because you believe being naive will magically make you happier. It won't. The naval blockades are failing miserably and a US ground invasion is extremely unpopular when people were lining up to go to war with Iraq 20 years ago.
>>18438052
If you think people seriously are willing to risk their lives, especially in a first world country, for something no more than money you're extremely naive and stupid. US recruitment levels are so low that they are bringing back ads with white people in it. There's a such thing as a conscious which you're not aware of because you only think in a material sense. Spend less of your time on Instagram and more on JSTOR, perhaps.
>>
>>18438095
>The naval blockades are failing miserably
The internet has poisoned your brain. It's time to stop posting
>>
>>18438101
There's a temporary ceasefire as you speak, and as long as Israel doesn't start something it's until the 22. You can use the Internet to educate yourself, it doesn't even take effort if you have triple digit IQ.
>>
>>18438095
>US recruitment is so low that there are Americans stationed in the Middle East, South America, the Pacific, and Europe
lmao okay retard, tell me more about how much the naval blockade is failing and how Iran is winning after all their leadership and top brass has been killed, I'm sure you take whatever posts you read on twitter at face value because the internet is so trustworthy and always just shows you The Truthâ„¢
>>
Okay so I took that guys advice and used the internet to educate myself and found this post. I don't feel much more educated to be honest, is this what educating yourself on the internet is?
