I have done my best to find any real evidence for an ancient Israel, since YouTube is filled with a lot of historical nonsense about it.
I have thus far found none.
No contempary or primary source attest to it.
Herodotus (the oldest primary and contempary source in the region) visited ancient Palestine and made no mention of it, he only mentioned Syrians who immitated the Egyptian practice of circumcision.
I have seen some people cite writing attributed to a character named "Josephus", an alleged ancient jew historian, but the problem is that oldest of such writings is dated from the 11th to the 14th century CE, no historian worth his salt would take such crap seriously.
The closest thing I have seen to evidence for an ancient Israel, is the menerpheh stale in which the words "isiiriar the people" is misstranslated into "Israel the state".
So what happened here, /his/?
Is the ancient Israel myth pushed by Zionists as a mean of creating a historical foundation for the jew state, or what?

True, Plato isn’t real and all of history is fake

Mesha Stele confirms the historicity of ancient Israel and even the events of 2 Kings 3:4–27

Never heard of the manuscript tradition award.

> Mesha stale
It's a squeeze of the stale not the actual stale.
>>

>manuscript tradition
It's dated to the 11th or 14th century CE, with hundreds of variants and often contradicting content.
No actual historian would ever take such nonesense seriously.

Carbon dating is a scam of modern Jewcademia
>>
>>18438436
Are you arguing that radiation doesn't exist? Because that's the basis of radiocarbon dating
>>
>>18438443
The retard is somewhat correct, carbon dating has many issues.
That being said this is irrelevant to the current discussion.

OP, just read this book. You can even get it online for free. Israel is the name of an ancient kingdom. The royal family were Yahwists, at least starting under the Omrides, and things went from there. The Jews were not colonizers, they were natives of the land. There are some other works too, but effectively Palestinian history as we know it begins in the Iron Age once they start to come back down from the highlands after the Bronze Age Collapse. Cities reappear, and a large kingdom is formed in the West Bank. Jerusalem is a very ancient city even then, but quite small. At one point or another Judah becomes its own polity, although like a vassal to the Israelites, Arameans, and others like the Egyptians or Babylonians.

The jewish identity did not exist until the ones who had been in bondage in Babylon returned, they called the ones who had stayed heathens who did not keep all their laws.
